1. Purpose and Scope of Terms

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") define the conditions for using the instrument adjustment, maintenance, and custom build services (hereinafter "Services") provided by Ketiminetrail合同会社 (hereinafter "the Workshop"). These Terms apply to all clients utilizing the Services.

These Terms are applied in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and the Legal Notice (Specified Commercial Transactions Act disclosure).

2. Service Requests and Booking

Clients wishing to use the Services must make an appointment via the official contact form or by telephone. Upon receiving an instrument, the Workshop performs an initial diagnostic check free of charge (Diagnostic Fee: 0 JPY) to assess the current condition.

Following the diagnosis, we provide a specific scope of work and a cost estimate. A formal contract is established, and work commences, only after the client has explicitly agreed to this estimate.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

All service fees are displayed inclusive of 10% consumption tax (消費税). Payment is generally required in cash or via bank transfer upon delivery of the instrument.

For corporate clients (B2B transactions), payment is required within 30 days from the date of invoice issuance. For high-value projects, such as custom instrument builds, a deposit may be requested based on a separate mutual agreement.

4. Cancellations and Modifications

Cancellations made before work begins are free of charge. However, if materials have already been procured or work has commenced, the client will be billed for actual costs incurred. Requests to change specifications during the process may result in additional charges.

While we strive to accommodate urgent booking changes, please be aware that rescheduling depends on our current capacity and other client appointments.

5. Delivery and Storage

Upon completion of the work, the Workshop will send a completion notice. We request that instruments be collected within 14 days of this notice. If the storage period (14 days) is exceeded, a separate storage fee may be applied.

At the time of delivery, the instrument is returned with a report detailing the work performed. Pre- and post-work photographs are available upon request.

6. Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Workshop provides a warranty period of 6 months from the date of delivery for the specific work performed. If defects in the workmanship are identified within this period, re-adjustment will be performed free of charge.

This warranty applies exclusively to "work performed by the Workshop" and does not cover natural aging of the instrument, deformation due to improper storage, or modifications made by third parties. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse service for instruments containing CITES-protected materials if valid certification is not provided.

7. Intellectual Property and Ownership

For custom builds, the intellectual property rights to technical blueprints and proprietary know-how developed by the Workshop remain with the Workshop. Ownership of the finished instrument transfers to the client upon full payment.

The Workshop may feature images of client instruments in our portfolio or on social media. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish for your instrument to be displayed.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, including the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報保護法), the Telecommunications Business Act, and the Consumer Contract Act.

Any disputes arising from these Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in 福岡市中央区 (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City) as the court of first instance.
